Are you…

  • Ready to connect to your own parts and ways of developing healthy and loving relationships to help you feel a greater sense of wholeness and integration?
  • An Internal Family Systems (IFS) counselor or coach?
  • Someone who is pursuing Internal Family Systems (IFS) counseling or coaching?

If so, Living From My Centered Self: An IFS Wisdom Journal can assist you on your daily journey.

Living from My Centered Self: An Internal Family Systems Wisdom Journal by Elaine Casquarelli, PhD, and Karin Lubin, EdD is a powerful reflective tool for therapists, coaches, and their clients.

Living From My Centered Self: An IFS Wisdom Journal is a four volume daily journal to help you nurture your connection to Self and stay in compassionate relationship with your parts.  The journals will also help you live in greater alliance with your inner wisdom and your vision for your life and overall wellness.

Each volume of the journal focuses on two of the 8 C’s of Self: Curiosity and Clarity, Courage and Creativity, Compassion and Connectedness, and Calmness and Confidence. The daily pages of the journal include reflective questions that help you develop these heart-felt qualities within your Self.

The daily, weekly and monthly pages of Living From My Centered Self: An IFS Wisdom Journal invite you to affirm your inner worth and strength, focus on your intentions, connect with Self, notice the parts of you who need your attention, and then provide the compassionate attention that would be most helpful.  The purpose of the journals is to assist you in creating greater harmony within your internal family!

Living From My Centered Self: An IFS Wisdom Journal also includes feeling, body sensation, and intention word lists to support you in honoring the experiences and needs of your inner system.

We begin with curiosity and clarity to use the journal to open up to understanding the Self and your many parts.  In the process, you will explore and discover your inquisitive nature to better understand yourself and gain greater clarity while doing so.

We continue to investigate courage and creativity. Courage and creativity are natural partners in your willingness to move forward, whether imperfectly or perfectly, and taking creative or courageous actions.

This is an exploration into compassion and connectedness, which go hand in hand. Compassion leads us to connecting with others while connectedness allows our hearts to open and feel more compassion for others and ourselves.

We study calmness and confidence, which are the states our Self feels when centered. Being in a state of calmness can allow intuition, courage and creativity to flow. We naturally begin to explore inner confidence and how that shows up in our experience of Self.

Four quarterly editions adapted to using Internal Family Systems Therapy (originally developed by Dr. Richard C. Schwartz).

Each edition explores two of the 8 Characteristics of Self to build greater presence and love on your inner journey.

“I am totally grateful for the book. It provided me a chance to pay attention to my parts each morning and this was most helpful to them. Thank you for the work you are doing for our community and others using IFS! I appreciate that so much.”
