Finding the Gems Within the Chaos- 2022
Dear Deep Soul,
What are some of the gems you can identify from living your best life this past year? And what are some nuggets you hope to discover and polish into gems for 2022?
For me it seems that 2021 has been a time for reconnection…at least more than in 2020!
I noticed that I released some busyness in my life, so I’ve had more time to dive deeper into what has meaning for me. I’ve found that it’s very easy to be overly busy, and I continue to notice that I want and need more “still moments” surrounding and between the times I am busy doing.
Part of building resilience is noticing what you need. I need to support myself differently these days. What about you?
In order to really focus on what was most important I needed to release activities that were nice but not necessary, such as constantly looking at social media or listening to/reading the daily news so frequently.
I carved out more time in my calendar, leaving more “blank” days between each training, course, or workshop that I led or participated in. This gave me some nourishing “breathing room” before and after events and work gigs.
Requesting more time for myself is part of my practice of self-love and greater compassion. When I fill myself up this way, I find I have more compassion for others. Of course The Mastery of Self Love trainings I co-lead support my own practice of self-love. If your work is truly aligned with who you are it can really fill you up with purpose!
To keep building inner strength I must listen to what my heart really needs each and every day… today. There’s immense chaos and instability surrounding us in some way or another in our world that is not simply going away. Now is the time to explore the few and meaningful powerful things you want to do and be that can activate and fortify your inner strength for whatever comes. And when you do find and focus on these, perhaps they will be the nuggets you polish into jewels for a more sparkling 2022!
Getting Aligned with Outer and Inner Nature in 2022
The New Moon begins on January 2nd. That means we have an opportunity to begin again from this stillness and fertile dark. You can release that which might not serve you now—ideas, unnecessary to do’s, old grudges, etc. Toss them into the dark well of the Moon and release them!
If weather permits, you might get to see a meteor shower on January 4th & 5th and view the planet Mercury on January 7th on the horizon after sunset. The Full Wolf Moon will be on January 17th. What qualities and activities do you want to bring out into full light then and for the year?
The Power of Journaling
